Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Development Capabilities
The SURVICE Fire Works team has extensive experience and expertise in developing, enhancing, and maintaining complex M&S software and coordinating related development activities. We combine engineering and computer science disciplines as part of the process to ensure that resultant applications and models meet both technical and usability requirements. Our programmers are experienced in cross-platform user interface development using a variety of freely available and open-source solutions. Examples of M&S services we offer include the following:
- Working with the customer to define, document, and refine M&S requirements
- Using M&S requirements to develop or enhance methodology and algorithms.
- Developing M&S architectures and writing software to meet cross platform requirements, using state of the art software practices, technology, and languages.
- Developing tools to aid in development of input data files minimizing potential input errors.
- Creating unique or common post-processors and visualization tools to better understand simulation and test results.
- Conducting software engineering and development using the latest software technologies and programming practices.
- Managing and conducting configuration control on software development.
- Supporting independent software verification and validation.
- Supporting development of M&S accreditation plans.
